You Don't Have to Do This Alone Poster Contest

Charlie Olsen, 2021 NH’s Kid Governor and his Executive Council are pleased to present:

You Don't Have to Do This Alone
A Poster Contest to Bring Awareness to Childhood Depression

How Can We Help Each Other When We’re Feeling Down?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, children of all ages have sometimes felt sad or alone. With over 44,000 students in NH suffering from depression, NH’s 2021 Kid Governor, Charlie Olsen, wants you to know, “you don’t have to do this alone”. We all need a support system, someone we can reach out to when we are down. We are all in this together and we need to find ways to support each other.

Charlie is committed to his platform of Childhood Depression and eliminating the stigma of mental illness. To achieve this he, in collaboration with NH Civics and The NH Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, is sponsoring a poster contest.

  • Contest is open to school-aged Grade 5 children
  • All entries must be received by April 23, 2021

You Don't Have to Do This Alone Poster Contest

Our programs in action!

A large portion of my day is spent on video calls helping parents to teach their kids the right material. Because of all that I’m constantly looking for great online resources to share with the parents of the kids I work with and I came across your NH Civics page while looking up social studies resources. It’s been a great help and had a lot of great sites I could send the kids and their parents to for some extra material to work with. Just thought I should reach out and thank you for putting it all together!
