Three NH Educators traveled with NH Civics Executive Director, Martha Madsen, and NH Partner Site Director of Mikva Challenge, Amanda Maguire, to Chicago for the annual Mikva Action Civics Summer Institute, an immersive, three-day civics professional development available to teachers using the Mikva Challenge curricula in their classrooms. Participants explored ways to improve school culture and develop students’ academic and social-emotional skills while honing strong teaching practices for implementing Mikva Challenge at their schools.
