In this two part PD (sessions on March 23rd and May 10th), school teams will be using “Getting Started with Restorative Practices,” a newly published toolkit from the Center for Education Equity. They will learn the rationale and results of implementing a Restorative Practices approach to building student, staff, and family relationships and a positive school climate, that yields increased instructional time because students are rarely suspended from school for disciplinary reasons. This workshop is appropriate for district and school administrators, teachers, counselors, and other school personnel. School or District teams of 2-4 are encouraged! “Singles” are welcome as well. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. REGISTER HERE.
We’ve reached capacity for the Restorative Practices in Schools PD workshop. To be added to the waitlist, please email communications@nhcivics.org. Thank you!
